Evolution of the UK Train

An academic project that had me design a diagram poster based on our previous Map Poster project (The Greater Manchester Train Network). This project required me to research real trains used during the times my map poster displayed (1830–Present). I created detailed abstracts of train models found online. 

I continued with around the same typographic choices as my map project to unify the two projects. A new aspect added was I imitated the railway number labels used in their subway system, with their colors being the same as the train model.
