Hello, I am Kelcey Newman Jr.,

but you can call me KJ

How it all began

I had been brought up around design at an early age due to my father also working within the creative field. My career as a graphic designer though began in highschool when I took my first ever class in the study. I created an assortment of projects from just photos of my older sister's dog "boogie".

I used art as a form of expression for all of the thoughts within my brain. Design only opened that expression to even greater heights allowing me gain better understanding of the power of imagery. This focus eventually developed into a love for all forms of visual communication and storytelling from a small sticker on a laptop to a giant logo placed on the side of a building.

More about me

Sports and comics have always been the primary influence for most of my creative projects. I was an athlete all until my final year of college so sports branding and logo design have always snatched my attention especially when any of my favorite teams change their branding. Spider-Man easily was my favorite hero growing up because of his witty commentary, super athletic ability, determination, and super suit (Spider-Man I believe hands down has the best suit gallery of any hero.) These topics gave me a love for making my designs powerful, just as the things I love.
